Hilmi Shafe School
Akko
Ako is a Port City with Historical importance.
Close to the Canal of the old city we planned a complex of education, in the middle a boulevard that connects the center city with the sea.
Ort Hilmi Shafie School is Located near the northern promenade of the old city walls, the school was built in two buildings that correspond with the old city and the sea, by planning long windows from which one can see the historical walls and the sea.
The entrance to the school is raised by piles of iron pillars that enable connection to the central avenue. The two buildings maintain a low proportion (2 stories) in order to expose the upper promenade and the canal to the far view.
2005-2010, 3,500 sqm.
